OBSERVED
Technology does not always arrive as a robot. Sometimes it arrives as an experience. At Shanghai Disney Resort, the castle, themed streets, TRON entrance and evening fireworks became parts of a world I could step into rather than simply watch on a screen.
My original post connects TRON and Zootopia with the broader question of how digital storytelling becomes physical. Motion, machinery, light, sound and spatial design can work together to shape that experience. This is an interpretation of the visit, not an inspection of ride control systems or a measurement of their performance.
The useful question is not whether every effect should be called AI. Movement, automation and a convincing scene do not by themselves establish machine intelligence. I want to understand how technology changes the way people experience a physical place.
